Eppley Airfield "Dance of the Cranes" relocation
On August 25, 2021 the Dance of the Cranes sculpture located at Eppley Airfield was relocated to make room for airport development with the Terminal Entrance Roadway Expansion Project. The relocation effort moved the 60 foot bronze sculpture nearly one mile to the south as drivers approach the airport from downtown. This move occurred at night with a lot of coordination, but its new location is great for greeting travelers at Eppley Airfield.
